Join us on the lawn of the Stitzel-Weller Distillery for a cocktail party hosted by Garden & Gun editor in chief David DiBenedetto. Enjoy Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey cocktails and live music from Brother Smith and The Local Honeys while shopping curated goods from Kentucky makers (including me!). Woodland Art Fair will be held on August 17th and 18th, 2019, inside the Woodland Park grounds (601 East High Street, Lexington, KY 40502). Over 200 artists, enjoy live music, Kentucky food, beer gardens, family art engagement activities all available with free admission. In the past, the market had partnered with the Downtown Lexington Partnership, but now the makers market is an in-house program of the Lexington Farmers’ Market.

Stephanie will be selling some fresh new prints and originals that will add the coziest of local artsy feels to your walls. In collaboration with Southern Barker, this is my first ever Paint Your Pup workshop! All ages and skill levels welcome! Using a photo of your pet, you will carefully use tracing paper to trace and transfer the outline of the picture to paper. You'll learn how to mix colors using gouache paints and curate a themed palette of colors to create your masterpiece with.
The class is $40 per person and if you would like to paint more than one painting, it will be $10 for each extra pup.

Join us for summer watercolor painting! This is not yo mama's old sip and paint party! Come unlock your artistic abilities with celebrated Lexington artist and design enthusiast Stephanie Hilen take us on a journey of color and discovery through floral watercolors.
For this class students will have floral arrangement photos as the inspiration for their watercolor painting. You will learn to mix a value scale and about finding shadows and highlights within a still life arrangement. This is NOT like the other on trend painting/wine locations where you are told what to do with a step by step painting tutorial instead Stephanie will be teaching basic watercolor techniques and interacting with each student giving input and help as they paint.

The Market 301 was founded in May of 2015 as a small, 10 vendor, "local" event. With the support of the local community and love for this event, there are now over 30 makers, artistisans, and/or boutiques that set-up each month to bring Lexington, KY the best of shopping local. At the Market 301 you will find goods such as: papergoods, mens & women's wares, children's wares, ceramics, illustration, wood art, home goods, cocktail syrups, treats (for humans and the furry type) and beauty.
Maker's Mark invites you to join us on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the fifth-annual Maker’s Mark® Handcraft Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in lovely Loretto! Enjoy a self-guided tour with food and cocktail samples as well as live music, all while checking out some of the finest handpicked arts-and-craft vendors. Stephanie's oil floral paintings are on display at the First United Church in downtown Frankfort, Kentucky. The paintings can be viewed on Sunday mornings 8:30-12:00 or by appointment.
